Susan Koshy is the Chief Executive Officer of PAACS. Susan holds a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Illinois and a law degree--Juris Doctorate (JD) from the University of Iowa. She has spent her career enhancing access to healthcare both in the US and globally. Before joining PAACS in 2015 and becoming CEO in 2020, she was involved in major initiatives in health legislation and policy at both the state and federal level for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and provided organizational leadership for surgical societies like the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society and the J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society, significantly boosting their growth and impact. Susan is a committed Christian involved in various non-profits across the country. She is a fervent prayer warrior active in numerous prayer groups, praying for families, the US, and the nations of the world. She has dedicated nearly the past decade to the mission of PAACS, working tirelessly to ensure better surgical care across Africa while sharing the gospel.
