On January 12th, we were thrilled to celebrate the graduation of our trainees who completed their residency training in December. This year saw the graduation of one general surgeon, June Owino, two orthopedic surgeons, Cyril Oike and Eric Yegon, and the first PAACS neurosurgeon, Emmanuel Wafula. This year marked the 11th general surgery graduation, the 6th orthopedic surgery graduation, and the first neurosurgery graduation. It was such a blessing to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of these graduates and to have their friends and family, the surgical faculty, the administration, their fellow residents, and many of the hospital staff gathered to honor them.
