On March 2-3, 2024, ALL-SAFE held two laparoscopic training courses, in collaboration with the West African College of Surgeons (WACS), which were led by PAACS Board member, Dr. Grace Kim, Dr. Peter Ekeh, and Dr. David Jeffcoach. During these courses, 18 surgeons and trainees practiced skills on appendectomy and ectopic pregnancy. Due to the success of these training courses, WACS President Prof. Emmanual R. Exeome will adopt ALL-SAFE as it's primary laparoscopic training platform.
