In April and May, Kijabe PAACS Anesthesiology senior residents, Drs. Rebecca Dufe and Eunice Kageha completed their first away rotations at Kibuye Hope Hospital, Burundi. During this time, they engaged in teaching local anesthesiologists and PAACS surgery residents, supervised care, and participated in designing a quality improvement project. With the support of the Kibuye team, led by Program Director, Dr. Ted John, they showcased the impact of their skills in a new setting.
