Dr. Gracious Sankulani, a fourth-year surgical resident with PAACS joined Mercy Ship's vessel the Global Mercy. While aboard, he spent 3 months helping the crew perform reconstructive plastic surgeries for patients with benign tumors, burn contractures, and severe scars. The experience taught him many skills to help underserved patients back home at Malamulo Adventist Hospital in Malawi.
