Thank you, Tarp! After just over 3 years, Dr. John Tarpley “tarp”’s time as Academic Dean comes to an end. Tarp’s contribution to the growth and recognition of PAACS domestically (USA) and internationally grew significantly during his time overseeing the quality of education. He truly kept the bar high and encouraged all to practice quality medicine in Jesus’ name. Thank you, tarp. You remain an example to us all.
Welcome Chris! After a lengthy process of consideration, the Lord provided Dr. Chris Moir as PAACS’s next Academic Dean, having begun Feb 24. Dr. Moir trained in general surgery at the University of British Columbia, followed by Pediatric Surgery Fellowship at McGill University. Over more than 30 years, Dr. Moir’s work at Mayo Clinic resulted in him receiving numerous teaching awards, with some time as the Medical Director of the Mayo Clinic Children’s Center. We look forward to seeing how the Lord will use Dr. Moir to advance the work of the Lord through PAACS.
